The Fauxhawk hairstyle originated in Europe. It was popular amongst soccer players.
It was a big hit in America for 2009 and looks like it’s staying in for 2010 as well. The Fauxhawk was popular for all ages.
All it really is is a modified Mohawk. To be done correctly a hairstylist must use a buzzer for the sides and a scissor on top and a good strong gel to style it to the middle. Spiker gel works really well with this haircut.
